Extract from Acknowledgments in his maiden book Influence of psychological factors on product development:

"My former supervisors Prof. Dr. Fernando Toshinori Sakane, Prof. Dr. Takashi Yoneyama of the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica-ITA, Mr. Eduardo Vieira Lima Magalhães Gondim, and Mr. Raul Wuo are also gratefully aknowledged for the many private conversations on research and development issues prior to the start of this research. Many thanks as well as to Ms. Lilli-Marie Pavka, my tireless copyeditor, for her well-appreciated efforts. And finally, to the first: Mr. Alfred Volkmer. This work is the result of a resonating, cyclical process that started concomitantly with the countless conversations on product implementation issues we held during the intervals between his lectures on digital circuit design back in 1981."
